Location and astonished view, on the 25th floor ,have been the scenario of the Sergio Rossi’s brand cocktail party organised for the Milan fashion week.
In an elegant atmosphere with lounge music, the shoe the main protagonist become architectonic element. It is exposed and displayed in all its dimensions. The autumn-winter 2013 collection is a real extraordinary showcase.
The refined,elegant forms and materials have been added with a new decorative element such as the cage. It is a common detail in the collection, it isn’t only an aesthetic choice but it’s functional too. This element has also the function to support the shoe’s structure such as the metallic architectonic thatching artworks.
Francesco Russo brand’s creative director chooses to be inspired by the renown architect Santiago Calatrava conceiving his creations as a path of study and at the same time a progression of architectonic plan.
He considers and values structure, functionality and of course aesthetic. Respecting the collection’s concept the chromatic choice seems attentive and essential: black, white and naked have been translated by an extended selection of leathers from the classic suede to the fine python leather.
All are enhanced by steel and pink gold.
